Huawei could be going after Samsung's Note8 with upcoming Mate 10 Pro

Huawei will hold an event next week to officially reveal the details of its upcoming Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. While we have seen the Pro model plenty of times over the past few weeks, a new image has surfaced that could indicate that the firm is going after Samsung"s Galaxy Note8.

The latest image of the Mate 10 Pro shows off the what we have already seen before, but now has the added intrigue of a stylus. There isn"t much information to go off of at this time, but it will be quite interesting to see another handset arrive to market that can utilize a stylus.

The smartphone will arrive with Huawei"s Kirin 970 processor and a large 4,000mAh battery. As far as the cameras, while it hasn"t been confirmed, the handset could come with a 23MP and 20MP sensor, which should be capable of shooting some excellent images. Luckily, we won"t have to wait long to find out all of the details as the two units are set to be revealed at an event in Germany on October 16.
