Alongside the release of its Huawei P20 Pro and P20, the firm also debuted a set of new audio accessories. The Active Noise Canceling Earphones 3 and a new DAC Headphone Amplifier, and wireless earbuds, the Huawei FreeBuds. As you can tell from the image above, the company may have been inspired by Apple"s wireless headphones, the AirPods, when it comes to the design of the FreeBuds.
The FreeBuds will offer up to ten hours of playback on a single charge and can be recharged when placed inside of its carrying case. Huawei makes quite a bold statement with its new product, saying that it will produce a sound that is superior to its competition, by offering better noise isolation when compared to Apple"s.
What users might find the most tantalizing about the device is that it comes in not only white but also black. The FreeBuds will be priced at €159 or around $200 USD. It will be interesting to see if these are just all about the looks or if Huawei really has created a device that is better than AirPods.
