Today, Apple finally announced its latest iPhones and Apple Watches. While there are no doubts that some consumers are very excited about the new products, it appears that Huawei is attempting to take some of the wind out of Apple"s sails by throwing some subliminal jabs.
The firm didn"t call out the company directly but did tweet a short clip that is clearly aimed at Apple, thanking the firm for "keeping things the same". Huawei is, of course, trying to drum up some hype for its upcoming event that will take place in London on October 16. The company will announce its Mate 20 series that will likely include its latest 7nm Kirin 980 SoC featuring a dual Neural Processing Unit.
Despite Huawei just having a bit of fun at the moment, the company has not had a stellar year when it comes to accomplishing its goal of entering the U.S. market. The firm was rejected by two major U.S. wireless carriers and, after a lot of effort, it was forced to pull back. While it might have given up on plans for the U.S. for now, it will be interesting to see how it can turn things around in the next few years.
