In today"s world where selfies are a very big thing, front cameras on smartphones are continuing to improve. With this in mind, Huawei has announced a new smartphone that heavily focuses on the camera, the Honor 7i.
The smartphone features a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and functions more than just a camera for the rear end of the device. The camera (including a dual LED flash) can also be pivoted towards the front of the handset, much like Oppo"s N1 - perfect for those sweet selfie moments. Aside from this, the Honor 7i also features a fingerprint sensor, which is located on its side. The sensor can also duplicate as the camera"s shutter button.
Regarding the handset"s other specifications, the Honor 7i has a 5.2-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) screen, and is powered by a Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. You can choose between a variant that runs 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage, or 3 GB of RAM, which comes with 64 GB of onboard storage (both variants expandable via microSD).
The device includes dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, and packs 3100 mAh of battery power. Lastly, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, but pre-installed on top of it is Huawei"s custom UI, Emotion 3.1.
