Huawei has been relatively busy the past year or so, releasing the Mate 9 in November and later debuting it for the United States in January. A month later after the US debut, the firm would come to announce and release the P10 and P10 Plus. As we start heading into the latter part of the year, it appears the Huawei is ready to shed some light on what"s to come over the next few months.
Richard Yu, chief of Huawei’s consumer division, has come out and stated that the company"s Mate 10 will be far superior in many aspects to Apple"s upcoming iPhone. Yu made it known during an interview that “we will have an even more powerful product” and that “the Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker charging speed, better photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple.”
While there weren"t other details that were revealed, we do know from previous leaks that Huawei is prepping a 10nm Kirin 970 SoC that could arrive in future handsets like the Mate 10. As for timetable, we didn"t get an exact date from the report, but it will be exciting to see what Huawei comes up with later this year.
