Back in March, Huawei introduced the P40 series, and while I got to review the P40 Pro right away, I"ve been waiting to get my hands on the P40 Pro+. The P-series is always all about camera innovation, and Huawei kicked it up a notch with this handset. You"ll recall that the P20 Pro introduced a 40MP main sensor, and the P30 Pro unlocked new low-light capabilities with the new RYYB sensor.
The P40 Pro+ is all about lossless zoom, and it can even zoom in up to 100x. Rather than the 5x telephoto lens that"s found on the P30 Pro and P40 Pro, the P40 Pro+ has two telephoto lenses. One of them is 3x and one of them is 10x, and those two lenses can work together for some hybrid zoom action as well.
And of course, the main sensor is a 50MP RYYB lens, just like the P40 Pro, and there"s a 40MP ultra-wide lens. As for the rest of the phone, it includes Huawei"s HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor, and the same 6.58 FHD+ 90Hz OLED display. Check out the unboxing video below:
