A new rumor has surfaced claiming that Huawei could be working on a dual-edge flagship device slated for release in 2016. This device would have a curved screen on both sides, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Edge+.
The report further claims that this screen will be manufactured by Samsung and will offer a Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. The actual size of this display is yet unknown but unconfirmed reports claim that Huawei will manufacture 3 million units of this device monthly. Assuming that the report is accurate, given the dual-curved screen and the rumored production rate of the device, it is possible that the handset could be the company"s flagship smartphone for 2016.
Huawei impressed many attendees at IFA 2015 by announcing the first smartphone with "Force Touch" technology besting Apple at its own game. The company then demonstrated the accuracy of this feature by weighing an orange in front of those in attendance. Among other things, Huawei is also rumored to be working on Google"s next Nexus handset.
With the above being said andgiven the obvious lack of evidence and correlating reports, this rumor could turn out to be false, so we advise you to take this news with a rather large grain of salt.
