Back in May, Huawei announced its new budget-friendly smartphone, the Honor 6A, in China offering some decent specs at a low price. The firm has now quietly launched the device in Europe through a German retailer, Notebooksbilliger, at the price of €169 (roughly $190 USD).
However, the European model is slightly different from the original one. There is only one change; to be specific, this variant doesn"t have any fingerprint scanner. The rest of the specs are still the same.
Powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC, the device packs 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB through an external microSD card. The phone features a 5-inch 720p HD display.
As far as the camera is concerned, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The device has a 3,020 mAh battery and comes with Android 7.0 out of the box with EMUI 5.1 on top of it.
Furthermore, there is some confusion in the spec sheet given on the retailer website. It states the processor is to be from MediaTek while the model is mentioned as MSM8937, which is the model number of Snapdragon 430 chipset. The sheet also states the maximum clock speed of 1.2 GHz, while the Snapdragon 430 generally has up to 1.4 GHz.
The handset is currently available in gold and silver color options and folks can get one from the link given below.
