Huawei announced today that it"s expanding sales of the Honor 6X to the United States, and that it will be available in 460 Target stores. The company says that the device will be available "by the end of May", which would be today.
Originally launched in the US back in January at CES 2017, the handset includes Huawei"s own octa-core Kirin 655 chipset, along with 3GB RAM, 12/2MP dual rear camera, and a 3340mAh battery. While it ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a Nougat update was made available at the beginning of this month.
Huawei also announced the Honor 6A last week, although it"s currently only available in Asia. Starting at about $115, it includes a Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage; however, there"s also a model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage for about $145.
We reviewed the Honor 6X back in February and were impressed with it, giving it a 7.5 out of 10. We found it to be a very good phone, given the price tag of $249. You can find a store where it"s available, or order it from Target.com right here.
