Huawei's trio of new MateBooks will be available for pre-order in the US beginning tomorrow

Last month, Huawei announced a trio of new MateBook-branded devices, the X, E, and D. Tomorrow, those laptops and tablets will be available for pre-order from Amazon.com and Newegg.com.

The MateBook X is clearly the flagship of the set, offering a fanless design with an Intel U-series processor (i5 or i7). The laptop also includes Dolby Atmos, and Huawei says that it"s the first 13-inch laptop to have the feature. And finally, the bezels are just 4.4mm, which the firm says is the narrowest on such a device.

The X is available in two configurations. The Core i5 model comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage, and it comes in a Space Gray body for $1,099.99. The Core i7 variant is Prestige Gold and it also comes with 8GB RAM, but with 512GB of storage for $1,299.99.

The MateBook E is the successor to last year"s MateBook, which we reviewed and discovered some pain points. Fortunately, most of those issues have been fixed with this year"s model, with a kickstand for a more adjustable angle, and islanded keys on the keyboard.

The E also comes in two configurations, with an Intel Core m3, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage in a Titanium Gray body for $799.99, or a Core i5 Y-series with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a Champagne Gold package for $999.99.

Finally, the MateBook D is a 15-inch laptop that"s geared more toward the mid-range. There"s only one model, which offers a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 1TB of storage in Champagne Gold for $699.99.

Pre-orders kick off tomorrow for all of these devices on Amazon.com and Newegg.com, although Huawei hasn"t provided a specific date that these will be made available. Assuming that it"s sticking with its original plans, they should begin shipping in July.

Our Managing Editor Andy Weir managed to get some hands on time with the new trio of devices last month, which you can check out here. Of course, we"ll be reviewing them as well, and we"ll have some first impressions for you within a day or two.
