Tech e-tailer giant Newegg has had its Black Friday 2021 sales live for some time now and the company also runs an associated program alongside it called "Black Friday Price Protection". It was introduced last year and is a refund program in case a product"s price falls further after a purchase was already made by a customer. However, the program runs for a limited number of days, and the 2021 Black Friday Price Protection ends today (November 21).
The program this year started on October 14, and customers making a purchase during this period (Oct 14 to Nov 21, 2021) are eligible for this. But not all product purchases are covered by this program.
Only those products labeled with the "Black Friday Price Protection" badge (image link) are eligible under the program, so make sure you check this badge in case you want to avail yourself of the benefit of this program. No separate enrollment application is required for this.
If you make a Black Friday Price Protection-eligible purchase by today, Newegg says it will check for the lowest prices till November 30, 2021, and in case there is a further discount, that additional discounted amount will be refunded automatically to you on or after December 6, 2021.
Newegg also says on its FAQ page that the "product must be sold and shipped by Newegg.com". Oddly though, there appear to be items that carry the "Black Friday Price Protection" badge but are sold by different Marketplace sellers, like this HP ProDesk 600 G6 Desktop.
