Just so you know :)
The Interactive Digital Software Association has recently announced that its name has formally been changed to the Entertainment Software Association. The former IDSA"s updated title does not in any way alter the organization"s mission of representing and serving the needs of video game publishers in North America. In addition to hosting a little thing called E3 every year, the ESA also affords its members a host of services ranging from business and consumer research to intellectual property protection.
"More than half of all Americans derive hundreds of hours of entertainment from the software they play on their PCs, their video game consoles, their cell phones, and on the Internet," said ESA president Douglas Lowenstein. "The members of the ESA are the companies creating and publishing this entertainment software and our new name is a more clear and direct statement defining this exciting industry we represent."
