For most of us, the LG G6 is just something that has been seen in images and videos. While the handset made its official debut at Mobile World Congress, it has yet to receive a proper release date or even a price. But, there are a handful of units out there in the wild that are being reviewed and it appears that some have noticed that the corners of LG"s QHD+ display aren"t that buttery smooth.
Luckily, for those that are picky about these kinds of things, there is now a fix. Now, again, this is an "issue" that is being seen on review units and it might not be present when the G6 hits retail locations. Regardless, if you have a unit and want to smooth out the subtle imperfection, you can do so by downloading an app called Cornerfly.
Cornerfly isn"t a brand new app, but it has been picking up more steam as more curved display devices have come to the market. What the app does is it essentially fills in the missing pixels of the display to create the appearance of a smooth corner. This app can be used on any Android smartphone and can add a subtle change to the display. There is a free version of the app, but in order to get that delicious curve you see above, you"ll need to actually opt for the paid version, which will set you back $0.99.
