IFTTT Pro launched, promises robust applets with faster execution times

Today, the popular web-based service IFTTT (If This Then That) launched a new subscription model. Dubbed "IFTTT Pro", the new subscription will allow you to create advanced applets to get more out of your existing services. Compared to the standard subscription, one of the most notable features that IFTTT Pro brings with it is the ability to query data from multiple apps into a single service before taking an action.

For example, a Pro can create an Applet that in the evening queries both their Google Calendar and Slack before deciding to turn on their Philips Hue lights and play their favorite Spotify playlist.

Moreover, you will now have the ability to create unlimited applets. This was not possible with the standard subscription, which limited you to three custom applets of your own. You will also have the ability to execute multiple actions based on conditional "if" statements. Besides this, IFTTT Pro also promises faster applet execution.

The new service will start at $9.99 per month. However, there is a special offer until Wednesday, October 7, that will allow you to set your own monthly price subscription for the first year of IFTTT Pro. The service provides you the option to choose from $3.99/month, $5.99/month, and $9.99/month for the first year. The custom "set your own price" feature takes values north of $1.98/month.
