Images of Prestigio's first Windows Phone device leak

Microsoft announced that Prestigio would be joining the Windows Phone OEM family at BUILD 2014 in April, but today a Russian website has posted what it claims is the first images of the company"s debut device that uses Microsoft"s mobile OS.

Hi-Tech.ru says the device is being called the Prestigio PAP5507. While the name is completely boring, the design of the phone, as shown in the somewhat blurry image, looks pretty slick with a thin case and rounded edges. The back side of the phone shows a rear camera with a flash.

The website doesn"t have a lot of details about the hardware specs of the phone yet. It does says that it will contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1.2 GHz clock speed, an eight megapixel rear camera and a 1280x768 resolution display. There"s no word yet on the exact size of the screen, nor any information on the amount of memory or storage.

There"s no word yet on a release date or a specific price point, nor which markets the phone will go on sale.
