An internal build of Windows 10 Mobile"s next major update, Redstone, has been spotted on Buildfeed and it could be headed to Windows Insiders in the near future.
It hasn"t been long since Microsoft delivered the first major update for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile but the company is already busy developing the OS" next update which is expected to roll out next year. According to Buildfeed, the latest Windows 10 Mobile build from the Redstone branch that is being used internally, is 10.0.11082.1000.rs1_release.151210-2021.
As the numbers suggest, the build is fairly recent and was compiled on the 10th of December. Now, a tipster has revealed that the same build could be rolled out to Windows Insiders very soon. However, one should take this information with a pinch of salt since Microsoft is still ironing out bugs in the current version of Windows 10 Mobile.
With Redstone, Microsoft is expected to bring many new features to Windows 10 and bring better integration between the desktop and mobile versions. Existing Windows Phone devices are yet to receive the Windows 10 update and we expect the company to start testing the next major version of Windows 10 once the rollout for those devices commences in the near future.
