Intel launched its latest graphics driver earlier today with version 30.0.101.1660. The new driver fixes a timeout detection and recovery (TDR) error that was causing crashes during HEVC HDR video playbacks on Netflix. Aside from that, the driver also adds Intel"s oneAPI support in Blender"s physically based rendering (PBR) Cycles rendering engine.
Here are all the highlights of the release:
- Blender Cycles oneAPI support on 11th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors and newer
- Minor graphical anomalies seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla* (DX12) on 11th and 12th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors.
- Minor graphical anomalies seen in Baldur’s Gate 3* (Vulkan) on Intel® Iris® Xe Discrete graphics.
- A TDR may be observed during Netflix HEVC HDR Playback on 11th and 12th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors.
