Earlier today, Intel finally announced a release date for its first gen Arc discrete graphics. The new products will be unveiled at an event dubbed "A New Stage of the Game". And although not a lot, the company also shared some performance numbers for Arc.
Intel has already informed that Arc is landing first on mobile followed by desktops in Q2. With that, the company"s Vice President Lisa Pearce, revealed later that the Arc A370M variant will be the first to launch in the market.
And in terms of performance, the Arc A370M is said to provide double the frames of the currently available flagship 96 EU Xe integrated graphics SKU on a 12th Gen Alder Lake Core i7-1280P:
What performance can we expect from the first product to make it to market, the Intel Arc A370M?
The first Intel Arc discrete graphics products to enter the mobile market will enable up to a 2X improvement in graphics performance vs. integrated graphics alone while maintaining similar form factors.

If you are wondering what this means in the grand scheme of things, Arc A370M is expected to be the entry-level 96EU Arc Alchemist variant (SKU5). And this means that the Arc A370M is twice as fast as the fastest integrated graphics from Intel currently available.
This also means higher A500 and A700 series products will be even faster as the latter is going to pack more than five times the EUs.
