There has been a ton of news with regards to Apple"s upcoming trio of iPhones. But, early news regarding a revamped iPad, have been relatively scarce. Although an update to the iPad Pro line is expected to arrive later this year, there have been conflicting reports on its design, and whether it will have a display notch similar to the iPhone X. Something new found in the fifth developer beta of iOS 12 could confirm the iPad Pro"s new look.
The newly found element, which can be seen on the right in the image, is part of the battery usage UI and clearly shows the outline of an iPad without a home button or display notch. What you will also notice is that the iPad looks to have much thinner bezels when compared to the current lineup. You can see the UI element for the current generation iPad on the left with thicker bezels and physical home button.
Apple is expected to announce an array of new products, including the iPad, sometime towards the end of the year.
