iPad Air 2 gets bent, but it's not bendgate

Its been roughly a month since the "bendgate" issue was discovered on Apple"s latest flagship handset, the iPhone 6 Plus. Now, roughly a month later, it looks like people are taking the "bendgate" test to Apple"s latest tablet, the iPad Air 2. Unsurprisingly, it bends when put under a large amount of pressure.

While the iPhone 6 Plus "bendgate" issue seemed legitimate, the iPad Air 2 issue is definitely absurd. The iPhone 6 Plus bending issue had cause for genuine concern as it was occurring to a small number of people without the use of excessive force. Reportedly, the iPhone was being bent when being stored in front pant pockets. After the issue became public, many began to forcefully bend their iPhone 6 Plus" in an effort to show how brittle the new phone really was.

Although there could be issues with the iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 bending, We doubt that we will see this occur naturally. Furthermore, there has yet to be a reported incident where the iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 is bending on its own after being removed from a bag or some other storage area.
