Apple made a killing in the UK following its iPhone 6 launch, and the company has jumped over ten percent in marketshare in the last few months.
On a grander perspective, Kantar’s data shows that at the end of October, Android accounted for just under 70% of smartphone sales across Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Apple rose to 20.7% percentage points thanks to their handsets and Windows Phone still stands in third place at 8.7% marketshare across the five metered European countries.
Finally it’s worth pointing out that according to Kantar’s data, the iPhone 6 outsold the 6 Plus by a 4:1 ratio in Great Britain and by a 3:1 ratio in the US.
