During the past week there has been many revelations concerning the iPhone 6. Most notably, an announcement was made regarding a highly anticipated press event on September 9th, which is expected to have the official unveiling of the device as well as the iWatch. There was also a report which claimed that the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models would have displays made from different materials. Hot off the presses are new claims of actually knowing the date that the smartphone will be made available for pre-order in the Netherlands.
A report from iPhonez claims that the iPhone 6 will be available for preorder on September 19th in the Netherlands, according to an unnamed Dutch provider, and could provide a reasonable timeframe for other regions as well. This date would allow Apple to further prepare their inventory before the device finally ships.
Aside from the preorder date, the report mentions that the carrier"s backend system does not list two separate models, which may debunk many long-standing rumors of a 5.5-inch device. Additionally, the article adds that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will retail at €699 without a contract, which is the same as previous models. While this information is not yet confirmed, Apple is expected to put more than a few of these rumors to rest at their upcoming press event on September 9th, so stay tuned.
