Vietnam has potentially once again been the source of a leaked Apple product, an iPod touch sporting a 2 megapixel camera. A post on the forum of Tinhte has shown a device very similar to the one spotted on eBay last month.
Engadget picked up on the story saying a sticker shown in one of the photos appears to indicate it is a 64GB prototype of a new iPod touch. Besides the new addition of the camera, the exterior of the device appears to be the same as the last generation.
The iPod touch also appears to run and sync with iTunes as indicated in a video provided by the website. The "DVT-1" stamp on the rear of the device also reveals this was an early design verification unit which may mean this is not the final design of a new iPod touch.
The dock connector and 3.5mm jack on the bottom, volume controls on the left side, and sleep button staying on the top also give legitimacy to the device. This was also the case in the previous eBay leak and the iPods in both cases look almost identical.
A release date is uncertain for a future iPod touch but WWDC starting June 7 is a possibility.
