Is this the iPhone 5 exterior?

A new video has been released showing what it claims to be the exterior of Apple"s upcoming iPhone revision, the iPhone 5.

ETrade Supply, an online phone and tablet part shop, uploaded the video late yesterday. In it, the unibody case appears to be redesigned to feature an aluminum shell. The glass backing that appeared in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S is notably absent; instead, the entire exterior is a single piece. The casing appears to feature the rumored elongated design of the new iPhone, which is said to be around 4 inches in height. Additionally, a new docking port appears to be in place, and the headphone jack has been moved to the bottom of the device similar to Apple"s iPod line.

The new iPhone is expected to launch sometime later this year. Apple is hosting its developer conference, WWDC, next Monday through Friday. An iPhone revision is unlikely to appear at the conference, however, as it typically revolves around software and, at times, Apple computers and laptops. Apple"s new iPhone is rumored to run on its upcoming iOS 6 upgrade, which many expect to be shown at WWDC. The iPhone 5 was previously rumored to be revealed this month, however recent reports indicate October is a more likely month for the phone to be revealed.
