A recent poll of WinCustomize users indicates that nearly half of those users would still continue to pirate music rather than purchase it via iTunes or some other service despite prices of only 99 cents per song.
What is particularly chilling about the results is that WinCustomize users, based on other polls, tend to be older (average age 30 years) and are inclined to purchase things on-line such as software.
The poll results seem to indicate that even given equal convenience that many people will continue to pirate music. In fact, only 34% of users said they would buy music on-line. Trouble ahead for iTunes?
