June Games with Gold to bring Injustice, The King's Bird, and more

With less than a week left in May, Microsoft today unveiled the next deliveries of bonus games heading for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

Games with Gold June has the usual spread of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. The first wave is planned to land on June 1 followed by the second wave on June 15 — though usually earlier by at least a day. Each wave will include an Xbox 360 game and an Xbox One game, both with backward compatibility support on the Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The King’s Bird: Available June 1 to 30 (Xbox One)

Shadows: Awakening: Available June 16 to July 15 (Xbox One)

After the members of the secret council known as the Penta Nera are assassinated, their souls are consumed by the Devourers – evil demons which possess the ability to absorb the memories and personalities of the souls they acquire and materialize them as their puppets.

NeoGeo Battle Coliseum: Available June 1 to 15 (Xbox 360)

NeoGeo Special Cast unleashes this tag-team versus fighter. In addition to original heroes and heroines, it features a host of unique characters that transcend time; armed with weapons and robots warriors from both old and new titles of the once dominant NeoGeo platform have been amassed under one roof.

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Available June 16 to 30 (Xbox 360)

What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? Injustice: Gods Among Us introduces a bold new franchise to the fighting game genre from NetherRealm Studios, creators of Mortal Kombat.

Since this is a bi-weekly affair, there is plenty of time left on the clock for most of the remaining May Games with Gold offerings for anyone who"s yet to claim them. As such, Dungeons 3, Tropico 4, and Armello are still available as freebies for Gold members.
