The Mobile World Congress trade expo - the largest event in the mobile industry calendar - will kick off next month, and two of the most anticipated handsets of the year will make an appearance there.
Both the HTC One M9 and Samsung"s Galaxy S6 will be announced in Barcelona on March 1 - the day before the event officially gets going - and will feature heavily on the companies" respective exhibition stands at the show. But while neither device has officially been announced by its manufacturer, beyond a few teasers here and there, retailers are already preparing for the launch of the new Android flagships.
Carphone Warehouse - the UK"s largest independent device retailer - has opened early registration for the two devices, allowing potential buyers to sign up for updates, including notifications to alert them when pre-orders begin.
Both the Galaxy S6 and the One M9 are expected to have top-notch specs, raising the bar further over their predecessors. The S6 is rumored to offer an "Edge" variant, featuring a similarly unusual display to the Galaxy Note Edge that Samsung launched last year.
Neowin will be reporting from the Mobile World Congress, which begins on Monday, March 2 - so stay tuned for all the big developments, and don"t forget to follow us on Twitter @NeowinFeed so we can keep you updated!
