Google has teased the impending announcement of the Pixel 4a on August 3, but it looks like the company has another surprise up its sleeve for the event. It looks like the company intends to give us a teaser at its upcoming 5G Pixel phones as well as evident from the image that has been posted on Twitter by leaker Ishan Agarwal.
The teaser image does not really reveal much but does give us a side look at the Pixel 5 5G and the Pixel 4a 5G, with 5G smartly written using Google"s logo behind them. The phone on the left is presumably the Pixel 5 G as it features a brushed metal frame which is the same as Google uses on its Pixel 4 lineup. The one on the right is likely the Pixel 4a 5G as it seems to have a plastic frame.
Your first look at Google’s 5G Pixel lineup, coming this fall.

The one on the right is the Pixel 5 5G, judging by the Brushed Metal Frame.
The Pixel 4a 5G may be a bigger phone (basically XL) than the standard #Pixel4a launching tomorrow.

References to the Pixel 5 5G and Pixel 4a 5G have been found before in AOSP. The Pixel 5 5G will be Google"s flagship Pixel this year, but it will come with a premium Snapdragon 765G chipset instead of Qualcomm"s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 chip. This will help Google in keeping the price of the device in check in a world where flagship smartphones are frequently costing upwards of $1,000. As for the Pixel 4a 5G, it is expected to feature the same specs as the Pixel 4a but come with a bigger screen and possibly a dual-camera setup to help it differentiate itself from its non-5G sibling.
