Although gas prices have dipped quite a bit since that time, automakers are now more committed than ever in the race to bringing more electric vehicles to the mass audiences. Tesla has been quite successful in this market despite its vehicles starting at around $80,000. The firm has also recently gotten its first few Model 3 vehicles to paying customers, a car that starts at $35,000.
Not to be outdone by its competitors, Nissan is set to refresh its Leaf, with it making an official appearance sometime later this year. Before its debut, it appears that some alleged photos of the car have been leaked. According to the source, these photos were snapped inside the production factory and show off the front and rear of the vehicle. While leaks of cars are quite common, especially when they are road tested, images from the factory are not very common. Unfortunately, we won"t get verification until Nissan officially releases, but hopefully, it comes with a wealth of upgrades, along with a new price tag.
