Francis, Zoey, Bill and Louis are back in an all-new, zombie-infused campaign. "The Sacrifice" tells the story of the last Left 4 Dead 2 expansion, "The Passing", from the perspective of the original survivors. Players will find out how they managed to meet up with the Left 4 Dead 2 cast, and at the end, be forced to make a life-changing decision.
The campaign is available free of charge to Steam users who own either Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Xbox 360 owners can purchase the DLC through Xbox Live for 560 Microsoft Points (approximately $7). A Mac version of Left 4 Dead 2 goes live today as well.
Along with the new chapter in the zombie survival saga, "No Mercy" - the hospital campaign from the first Left 4 Dead - will be updated and included for Left 4 Dead 2 players, who can then play through both campaigns.
In honor of the release, both games are now on sale for 66 percent off their normal price on Steam. Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are just $6.49 each with a four pack available for each title at $20.30. Players can also buy both games in a bundle for $10.19.

At this price, I’m gonna tell you, don’t just buy one. Buy three. If you were thinking of buying three, buy seven. If you were gonna buy seven buy forty-one. At these prices, I dare say one could procure enough as to have birthday, anniversary, bereavement, and Christmas gifts for the next 30 years.
