While a lot of its computing business is focused on Windows laptops, computers, and the like, Lenovo still manages to squeeze out a tablet every now and then that runs Android. What makes this next one a bit more special is that it is debuting under its Motorola brand.
It has been quite some time since the last Motorola Android tablet was made available to consumers but starting on November 17, AT&T customers will be able to get their hands on the Moto Tab. The tablet will feature a 10.1-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion. The tablet will be powered by a 7,000mAh battery with charging available via USB Type-C. It will run Android 7.1 and will have soft-touch plastic on its rear to prevent it from slipping from hands.
For those that want a bit more from their tablet, Motorola will offer a set of accessories that will expand its capabilities. The first will be geared more towards entertainment junkies as the Home Assistant Pack will provide a stand for the tablet with premium dual mics and a 3W speaker. The second set, known as the Productivity Pack, will come as a folio case with a Bluetooth ThinkPad keyboard featuring an integrated trackpad.
The Moto Tab will be available this Friday at AT&T retails locations and through its website. The retail cost of the unit is $299.99 or if purchased with on a contract will cost $15 a month for 20 months.
