Lenovo launches 11 and 14-inch Yoga 700 hybrid laptops starting at $699

If the Lenovo Yoga 900 that was unveiled earlier this month is a little out of your budget, you might want to check out the more affordable Yoga 700, a 2-in-1 machine that comes in 11-inch and 14-inch variants.

Let"s start with the larger of the two models, the 14-inch Yoga 700 that is packing a 1080p IPS display and is powered by an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with 8GB of RAM. For those looking for a bit more power, the "700" can be configured with an optional Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics card, SSD storage up to 256GB and starts at $799.

For those looking for something a bit more travel friendly, you might find the 11-inch Yoga 700 as a better option. Although it features a smaller display, it still packs a 1080p IPS display, but offers a less powerful processor with the Intel Core m5-6Y54. Like its 14-inch counterpart, you still have the option of configuring the unit, meaning you can up the RAM to 8GB and max out the SSD storage to 256GB. The company promises about seven hours of battery life at a starting price of $699.

The Yoga 700 is now available for purchase through the company’s website in the United States and Australia.
