Lenovo has announced the launch of three new gaming laptops in India – Legion 7i, Legion 5Pi, and Legion 5i. Lenovo’s Legion series aims to address the large dual-use consumer segment that uses these PCs for serious gaming as well as heavy-duty work tasks.
Lenovo is the number two gaming PC brand in India with a 23.5% market share in Q1 FY2021. The company is now also focusing on deepening its engagement with the gaming community through gaming and e-sports partnerships.
Lenovo Legion 7i
The flagship Legion 7i is claimed to be the slimmest gaming notebook in a precision-crafted chassis jacketed in high grade, all-aluminum design. It is powered by up to 10th Gen Intel Core i9 H-Series mobile processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU with Max Q graphics.
Since it’s a gaming laptop, Lenovo decided to RGB everything. The Legion logo with an integrated light accents the top cover, while a new light strip along the bottom and rear vents help to illuminate the bottom. Of course, all the lighting can be configured with the Corsair iCUE software.
Lenovo Legion 5Pi and Legion 5i
Both Legion 5Pi and 5i retain most of the features of the flagship Legion 7i. They are powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor.
The Legion 7i, Legion 5Pi, and Legion 5i are available in Slate Grey, Iron Grey, and Phantom Black color variants respectively with a starting price of ₹1,99,990, ₹1,34,990, and ₹79,990 respectively. While the Legion 7i and Legion 5i are now available on Lenovo.com and will be available across offline and online stores later this week, the Legion 5Pi will go on sale across all platforms later in August.
