Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga unboxing and first impressions

As usual, Lenovo announced the bulk of this year"s ThinkPad lineup at Mobile World Congress, or at least what would have been MWC if it took place. The successor to the ThinkPad L390 Yoga is the ThinkPad L13 Yoga. The company is introducing new branding across its lineup because it"s simpler, and frankly, they ran out of numbers to count the generations.

The key new feature to this year"s model is that it has Intel"s Comet Lake U processors, which can be configured with vPro variants. There was also supposed to be a Ryzen PRO variant, although Lenovo doesn"t seem to be selling that just yet.

It has all of the goodies that you"d expect from a ThinkPad convertible, such as the garaged pen. This year"s model also comes with the ThinkShutter privacy guard on the webcam, and you also get rapid charging and MIL-STD-810G certification. In fact, MIL-STD-810G is standard for all ThinkPads.

All of that comes in a package that costs $749, which is a solid deal for a business laptop like this. Check out the unboxing video below:
