One of few ThinkPads announced ahead of CES this year, the ThinkPad L390 Yoga is a sort of mini X1 Yoga. The screen is just 13.3 inches instead of 14 inches, and it drops off some of the higher end features, such as Thunderbolt 3.
The convertible laptop includes Intel"s latest eighth-generation Core processors, which come from the Whiskey Lake family. It also offers an option for an IR camera for facial recognition, although that wasn"t included in the model that Lenovo sent me.
Like all ThinkPads, it"s MIL-STD 810G certified, so it"s built to be tough. It can stand up to extreme temperatures, shocks, explosive atmosphere, and more. The cover is made out of aluminum and magnesium, while the base is made out of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
Of course, it has a pen garage built into the device, so you"ll never lose it and it"s always charged. This is a common feature of all ThinkPad convertibles.
