Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet 2 has gained a lot of attention as being one of the first of many Windows 8-powered tablets, and with these tablets expected to be released by the end of the year and Surface Pro available after the New Year, people were beginning to wonder what the prices would be.
As of today, TechRadar is stating that the ThinkPad Tablet 2 will start at $629 (UK £392, AU $612). This price doesn’t include the keyboard or the dock, which will be an optional purchase for buyers interested in Lenovo’s Windows 8 tablet.
We know that the tablet will be available in most parts of the world from October 26th; some countries may suffer a delay until the language verification process is completed. The US, UK, Germany and Japan will be the first countries to see the tablet from day one.
