Today at Mobile World Congress, Lenovo introduced the Tab V7, a tablet that also has the capabilities of a phone. In other words, it"s a phone. The handset has a 6.95-inch 18:9 display with a 1080p resolution, but it"s also just 7.89mm thin and weighs in at 195g, which is less than an iPhone Xs Max.
It"s powered by Qualcomm"s octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, and it can include either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and either 32GB or 64GB of storage. The rear camera is 13 megapixels with autofocus, and the front camera is 5MP fixed focus. That"s all powered by a rather large 5,180mAh battery, so battery life should be pretty good.
The unit has two front-facing speakers with Dolby Audio, but it still manages an 81% screen-to-body ratio. It ships with Android 9.0 Pie, and dual-SIM 4G LTE.
While this isn"t entirely surprising, the Lenovo Tab V7 isn"t coming to the United States. It will be available in EMEA regions in April, and it will be priced starting at €249 including VAT.
