Lenovo's ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II is now available

Earlier this year at CES, Lenovo introduced a new ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard. While it was scheduled to arrive in May, it seems as though it"s here a bit early. You can purchase one on Lenovo.com now.

The ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II is obviously the second generation of the product, although Lenovo has a few wired and wireless solutions. Naturally, it comes with the quality that ThinkPads are known for, and of course, the red TrackPoint and physical left-click and right-click buttons.

As for this generation, there are a few things that are new. It has 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 5 so it can use Microsoft Swift Pair for easy connectivity. It also has a USB Type-C port for charging now, giving it the added benefit of wired or wireless usage. If you don"t like Bluetooth or wired connectivity, there is, of course, a wireless USB Type-A dongle that you can use.

The new keyboard is available now on Lenovo.com for $99.99. You can check it out here. Note that if that"s too expensive for you, Lenovo does still sell the ThinkPad Wired USB Keyboard with TrackPoint for $52.79, which you can find here.
