LG debuts its rugged 'X venture' Android 7.0 handset with an IP68 rating and 4100mAh battery

If you"re looking for a rugged alternative to your everyday handset, the LG X venture might be a great option if you are using AT&T service.

The handset has been announced as an exclusive to the carrier, and offers an IP68 rating with MIL-STD 810 testing, 5.2-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 16MP rear camera with 5MP front-facing camera, and quick charging feature that will have the phone recharged from zero to 100 percent in 2 hours.

While there isn"t much detail beyond what was listed above, the handset does feature physical buttons on the front, and looks to have a similar textured silicone rear cover like what can be found on the LG V10. According to Android Authority, the unit will offer a Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB RAM, and a large 4100mAh battery. If interested, the LG X venture will be available starting on May 26 for $11 a month for 30 months with an eligible service plan.
