Sprint announced its launch plans for the LG G3 a few days ago, revealing that pre-orders will open on July 11, ahead of availability on July 18. The carrier did not disclose which variant of the G3 it would offer, but more recent leaks have now clarified this.
LG announced the G3 at the end of May, boasting a list of impressive specs. The real headline-grabber was its 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440px) display, along with a quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. Two different versions of the G3 were revealed: one includes 16GB of onboard storage with 2GB of RAM; the other features 32GB of storage and 3GB RAM.
As GSM Arena reports, two separate sources have now revealed that Sprint will get the latter variant with more storage and more RAM, matching T-Mobile which will offer the same version.
The G3 will be priced at $600 off-contract with Sprint, available for $25 per month on the carrier"s EasyPay instalment program. Sprint will exclusively offer the gold version of the handset in the US.
