With preorders of LG G Flex 2 just recently kicking in within Europe and the U.S., LG is looking to unveil yet another flagship, the LG G4. OnLeaks has reportedly got their hands on a leaked press render that shows the visual aspect of the new phone, and also the dimensions of the device.
The early press render is making the rounds on Twitter, and shows that LG G3"s successor will be a little bit thicker and bulkier, but will apparently compensate for that by borrowing the curved design of the G Flex 2, although not as drastic as its cousin. The curved display is also said to be almost bezel-less, and given the fact that the new device is bigger in pretty much every way, it could sport a larger than 5.5 inches QHD screen.
The press render also suggests that the LG G4 will have the same back as the LG G3, made of scratch-resistant plastic, and may be removable as well, offering people the option to add a microSD card or swap out the battery, features that manufacturers such as Samsung have eliminated from their latest offerings.
The LG G4 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, and may sport a better rear shooter with a 16 Mp sensor - a slight bump from the 13 Mp camera of the G3, and a 5Mp sensor for the front camera. The new flagship smartphone will reportedly arrive in May.
