Today will be all about Samsung"s latest release, the Galaxy Note8. But that hasn"t stopped LG from pushing its upcoming V30 handset, releasing a new promotional video.
The promo spot doesn"t show off the phone itself, but it does boast of a "full & colorful view". Although the V30 is expected to arrive with the latest specifications, the firm is clearly touting its recently revealed OLED FullVision display. According to LG, the V30 will arrive with a 6-inch QHD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2880. It will come in smaller than its predecessor thanks to the bezel reduction and moving the LG logo "from the bottom of the display to the back of the phone to maximize viewable screen space". Like its FullVision display that made its debut on the G6, the new display will include support for HDR10 and will be protected by Corning"s Gorilla Glass 5.
LG has an event scheduled on August 31 where it will reveal full details about the V30. This will occur a day prior to the official start of IFA Berlin.
