Earlier this month, details emerged of a new flagship-class handset on the way from LG, sporting a rather unusual feature. Known as the "V10", the device was said to feature a secondary "ticker display" above the main screen - and LG itself has now confirmed this feature in an official (albeit rather brief) teaser video.
The device that appears in the video lines up precisely with images previously revealed of the V10, right down to the positioning of that ticker display. It will sit immediately above the screen on the front of the device, and to the right of the front-facing camera module.
While the video only shows content on the secondary display in black and white, an image recently posted on Twitter by Evan Blass (better known as @evleaks) appears to show that the display is full-color:
Blass was also first to reveal detailed information about the V10 a few weeks ago, claiming that it will feature a 5.7-inch primary display with Quad HD (2560x1440px) resolution, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM and more. His prediction of an October launch also matches the October 1 launch date teased in the video.
