It was only a couple weeks ago that LG debuted its latest handset in the G-series with the G6+. While the overall look of the device didn"t change compared to the original G6, it did deliver a RAM upgrade to 6GB and also increased the storage capacity to 128GB. Although it does tout a fairly large screen measuring in at 5.7-inches, because of its thinner bezels, it feels a lot smaller, making it more comfortable to use, even for those with smaller hands.
Be that as it may, if you are not a fan of the size, LG might have an option for you that is likely to arrive on July 11. The new model, dubbed the Q6, will be a smaller version of the G6 that will downsize the display and a couple other aspects of the phone. It might be smaller, but it will still offer the nearly bezel-less Full Vision display with an 18:5:9 aspect ratio screen, as evidenced by the new commercials that have been posted on LG"s YouTube page.
As we can see from the three clips, each one asks whether we need Full Vision, showing us what it might be like if we saw life through a smaller window. Each commercial then offers a silhouette of a familiar looking handset, surrounded by a vibrant color, and has a date of July 11.
Not much can be gathered about the upcoming phone from the new 15 second spots, but if one thing is clear, it is that it will offer the same design as the G6. Although the ads don"t give us many details, a credible source divulged a couple weeks ago that the Q6 will arrive with a single 13MP sensor, and will also have 3GB RAM. Naturally, we will have to wait until the firm officially announces the unit. Luckily, we won"t have to wait long.
