LG to formally debut new K Series smartphones at CES 2016

LG is set to unveil two new premium smartphones at CES 2016 as part of its new K Series. These smartphones will be the first to follow the company"s new "glossy pebble design language" which incorporates a curved, modern finish, 2.5D arc glass in a form free of "button clutter."

The K10 model will pack a 5.3 inch 720p touchscreen, a 13 megapixel rear camera and either a 5 or 8 megapixel front-facing camera. LTE versions of the K10 will be powered by one of three chipsets including a 1.2GHZ quad core, 1.3GHz quad core or a 1.14GHz eight core chipset. The device will also include a 2,300mAh battery and up to 2GB RAM.

The previously leaked K7 smartphone includes a smaller 5 inch touchscreen running at a resolution of 854 x 480, a 5 or 8 megapixel rear camera paired with a 5 megapixel front facing-camera. The LTE version of the K7 will include a 1.1GHz quad core chipset, a lower capacity 2,125mAh battery. and up to 1.5GB RAM.

LG have yet to advise as to when these smartphones will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow but could disclose that information during the course of CES 2016.
