LG unveils three new G Pad tablets

Today, LG has teased three new additions to its G Pad series. The G Pad 7, 8, and 10.1 will be unveiled at MedPI 2014 that will take place from May 13th through the 16th in Monaco. Although LG has not been the most active in releasing products in the tablet category, it is clear that they are after the widest audience possible by releasing tablets in three different sizes

While details are scarce, the G Pad tablets will include LG"s customized Android features such a QPair 2.0 and Knock Code. QPair 2.0 is an updated version of QPair, which was found on the G Pad 8.3. QPair 2.0 will allow users to tether their existing Android handsets via Bluetooth to the G Pad tablets and receive notifications from calls and messages. QPair 2.0 will also allow you to respond to these messages directly from the tablet.

Knock Code will offer a unique method of unlocking the tablets. By knocking / tapping a personalized pattern on the display you will be able to unlock the G Pad. The sequence will be customizable from two to eight taps, and can be entered anywhere on the screen.

While not much is revealed in the press release, details of the G Pad series are sure to be unveiled in full at MedPI 2014.
