LG's G8X ThinQ and Dual Screen accessory are coming to Sprint next week

LG today announced that its G8X ThinQ handset will be coming to Sprint on November 8. Naturally, the device"s claim to fame is its Dual Screen accessory, which as you"d expect, doubles your screen real estate. In fact, the second screen is exactly the same panel as the one on the phone, right down to the small notch. Both screens are 6.4-inch OLED panels.

"LG G8X ThinQ lets you multitask like never before in a whole new way – watch movies, videos and sports while getting things done on your to-do list across two screens," said Dow Draper, Sprint chief commercial officer. "Sprint customers who are entertainment lovers, mobile gamers and heavy multitaskers will quickly see the benefit of a detachable second screen that lets you do more at once. LG G8X ThinQ is another great example of LG innovation, and we are excited to bring it to our customers as we enter the holiday season."

Aside from the two screens, the LG G8X ThinQ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB RAM, and it has 128GB of storage. There"s a dual-lens camera, with a main sensor and an ultrawide sensor, and there"s a 32MP front camera.

You"ll be able to pick up a G8X ThinQ from Sprint for $15 a month on a Sprint Flex lease, and then you"ll be able to get the Dual Screen accessory via a mail-in rebate.
