LG's Tribute Empire smartphone makes its way to Sprint and Boost Mobile

LG has released a new handset, the Tribute Empire, that will be made available through Sprint and Boost Mobile in the United States.

The phone"s design is simple and familiar, with the Tribute Empire offering a 5-inch 720p display. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor, 2GB RAM, and will have 16GB of internal storage. The device will also be able to expand its storage via microSD, up to 32GB. As for cameras, the unit will make use of an 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing sensors.

The model will make use of a 2,550mAh battery, which should give it up to 15 hours of talk time. If you manage to deplete the battery while out and about, you can always charge it up or swap out the battery since it is removable. The Tribute Empire will come with Android 8.1 out of the box.

While it might not be the most exciting phone to release so far in 2019, it is affordable. If this is something that interests you, it is now available for Sprint and Boost Mobile, costing $192 and $59.99 respectively.
