On the 4th of October, Google will hold a conference where it plans to announce the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, as well as the Google Home Mini, Google Home’s little brother. Google’s event is panning out to be much like Apple’s; all the details are being leaked in advance.
Now, we also have details on the new range of Daydream View, Google’s latest VR headsets. According to Droid Life, which has managed to get details on pretty much everything that is planned to be revealed in a couple weeks time, the Daydream View headsets will come in Charcoal, Fog, and Coral colors.
More observations by Droid Life concur that the unit looks "less soft and potentially more rugged." , with the site adding that:
The previous Daydream View had a cloth, jersey like finish, whereas this appears to be more of a nylon or at least a material that may be able to withstand nerd sweat over a longer period of time. The design also seems a bit cleaner this time around. The controller is back again.
The new Google Daydream View will be priced at $99, which is a $20 more expensive than the original. Once live on the Google Store, you should be able to get it right here.
