Overview
This Live Communications Server 2003 update offers the highest levels of reliability available for Live Communications Server. This update is part of continued effort by Microsoft to provide the latest product updates to customers.
This update fixes an issue in Live Communications Server 2003 that occurs when daylight saving time begins. When the clock changes from standard time to daylight saving time, the Live Communications Server will prematurely expire registration and presence records. Because of this, users might experience presence and instant messaging inconsistencies. Without this update, these symptoms will automatically recover within nine hours, though often within a few hours.
